EIGHT RANGES WINE

Eight Ranges wines are grown in our boutique vineyard of just under 3 hectares. Situated on the edge of a high terrace in the middle of the Alexandra Basin, amidst spectacular mountains in the Central Otago region of New Zealand.The vineyard overlooks the Clutha River between Alexandra and Clyde and is located just above the Central Otago Rail Trail.Our vineyard was established in 2001 with our first vintage in 2006 giving the vines ample time to settle in. In addition to developing the vineyard, there has been extensive re-planting of native species, including Kowhai, Totara, Ti (Cabbage Trees), Coprosma, Kanuka, Manuka, Corokia and a large collection of harakeke and wharariki (native flax).
